The Year End Show is a yearly design competition to build and install an exhibit to showcase the work of the graduating M.Arch class.

My winning entry used a modular half-lap joint system faced in fiberglass mesh that gave the exhibit an ever-changing and cloud-like presence in the space.

At every angle, the observer sees through numerous layers of grids and meshes that allow a glimpse into the space and the work on display, but offer privacy and mystery.

One module of the wall system used to divide the space in plan.

All parts were designed to be cut from 3/4″ plywood. Other than the kerf, there was no wasted material.
